Georgia Patrícia Mendes da Silva

Student of Social Sciences and I am currently in the third period of my degree at UFPE. I live in Recife, I'm a black woman, lesbian  and the first in the family to be at a public university.   I am passionate about the world of research, and my interests are focused on the anthropology of religion, gender and visual anthropology. At the beginning of August, I was selected  in two extremely important research projects for me and my academic career, the PETS in social sciences and my first academic research at INCT, on women's football, and this has opened up unimaginable horizons for me at university and beyond.
