The Amateur and Community Football research line is configured as a network space that brings together researchers from different areas of knowledge, interested in problematizing non-professional football practices. We understand as Várzea and Community Football the football practices marked by local/regional daily lives, especially those experienced as leisure experiences. A football that does not operate according to the same logic as professional football. The line aims to become a reference for interdisciplinary studies, at the interface with different areas of Human Sciences and their different modes of production.
